No Left Liberal Media, Eh?

I thought that there was no liberal slant in the media which amounts to little more than acting as puppets of the demotarded party. From a transcript of Journolist, a private listserv run by liberal journalists, for liberal journalists:

And I think this threads the needle [. . .] Instead [of dealing with a legitimate topic in which the American people have some political stake,¹] take one of [the Republicans] — Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.

Anyone who continues to maintain that the race angle taken by the media as a means to demonize the non-liberal opposition² isn’t an outright sham is either deluded or a party hack.

If you listen real hard, you can hear the founding fathers, those who, in their wisdom, made a free press a fundamental right of Americans, turning in their graves. That perhaps the most important of government checks, a free press, has turned in to little more than state run pawns is a fucking mockery of liberty.

2. They’ve done it with republitards for, well, ever, and have more recently done it to both libertarianism and libertarian-leaning candidates (see Rand Paul).
