Holy Privatization Batman

Why the fuck haven’t airports kicked TSA fucktards to the curb yet? The Washington Examiner:

Did you know that the nation’s airports are not required to have Transportation Security Administration screeners checking passengers at security checkpoints? The 2001 law creating the TSA gave airports the right to opt out of the TSA program in favor of private screeners after a two-year period. Now, with the TSA engulfed in controversy and hated by millions of weary and sometimes humiliated travelers, Rep. John Mica, the Republican who will soon be chairman of the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, is reminding airports that they have a choice.

Well fuck me sideways. If the airlines are at all interested in getting customers back, they will force airports to dump the TSA with the quickness and move to privatize airport security. I don’t know how it would affect screening procedures (I.e., whether TSA-style molestation would still be mandatory under federal law), but at the very least, we would have the ability to cut some of the 67,000 TSA employees that are little more than ticks of the state.

I smell a great business opportunity here. If only I had the capital and expertise needed to muscle my way in.

Fuck the TSA.
