Entrapment

Kenneth L. Wainstein, a former Assistant Attorney General:
So long as that person has expressed an interest in committing a crime, it’s appropriate for the government to respond by providing the purported means of carrying out that crime so as to make a criminal case against him.
How the fuck is the government providing the means for a person to commit a crime when said person would never have had the means to commit the crime otherwise not the very definition of entrapment? The law is what they say it is, I guess.
