The Numbers Just Don’t Add Up

I’ve been wondering how it is that the Demotards were able to claim that we would save money by taking a health care entitlement program that covers some people, and turning in to an exponentially larger health care program that covers everyone. I’m no mathematician or economist, I didn’t stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, but I did pass the 3rd grade, and the numbers just don’t add up. One would think that we might learn from our various past mistakes in making the taxpayers provide “universal health care,” but I guess multiple historical examples aren’t a good enough indicator of how badly planned and poorly implemented entitlement programs work.
