Leonard Pitts cracking his whip over Herman Cain:

One of the least-discussed impacts of the black experience in America is its emotional toll. African-Americans were psychologically maimed by this country, the expression of which can still be seen in the visceral self-loathing that afflicts too many.

Meaning the black child who equates doing well in school with “acting white.” Meaning the famous black man who bleaches his skin. Meaning the famous black woman who rationalizes her use of a certain soul-killing racial epithet. Meaning Herman Cain.

In his diminution of African-American struggle, he comes across as a man profoundly at odds with the skin he’s in. He seems embarrassed he’s black.

*Crack* Get back on the plantation, nigger! *Crack*

The racism of the liberal elite is as common as their cognitive dissonance. How dare a black man think thoughts that haven’t been met by liberal approval? That makes him unBlack. I mean, how dare he call upon his experiences as a black man who, despite his being black, made it to the very top echelons of his chosen profession? The liberal elite say it can’t be so, therefore he’s a self loather who isn’t really black at all, and has only gotten by because he verifies to “conservatives” what they already think about blacks.

According to the liberal elite, if you’re black and don’t believe that race is the only factor used by white people in order to dictate the path of your life, and that Team BLUE is the only path to an America where being black isn’t a handicap, you’re not really black, but a self loathing shell of a black man.

I LOVE being called a racist by a guy who’s being patently racist while doing so.
