Bureaucrats inspecting, overruling, and replacing lunches made by parents and brought from home:
Carolina Journal reports that a state inspector at West Hoke Elementary School in Raeford, North Carolina, recently deemed a 4-year-old girl’s home-packed lunch nutritionally inadequate, decreeing that it be replaced by food from the school cafeteria.
Except in this case, the meal sent from home actually did meet the system’s requirements, yet they took it from the little girl and replaced it with three chicken nuggets.
I will decide what is appropriate for my child to eat, not some fucking bureaucrat.
