Yet the World Has Not Ended

It’s a refreshing breath of fresh air to see that Obama’s “new” drug war policies aren’t hypocritical at all. When is it that libertards will finally understand that, by and large, the social freedoms offered by Demotard policy either 1) don’t fucking exist outside of shallow campaign promises, or 2) that the fulfillment of those promises will require high levels of taxation and regulation in order to support Big Government wishes (read: protection money)? Though the past 3 presidents, Clinton, Bush and Obama, amongst other high ranking politicians, have all admitted to using illicit drugs in their younger years, we still haven’t come up with a sane methodology of dealing with drug use, unless we can call the late night terrorization of families via SWAT raids and the killing of family pets sane, and culturally we still cling to the idea that all drug users are nothing but basement dwellers with no job or sense of humanity, yet the world has not ended. I guess we need to support the law enforcement and prison welfare state somehow. I mean what else would all of those military surplus weapons be used for if not for low level, non-violent pot smokers. When we consider that drug infractions account for more arrests annually than all violent crime combined, and that, indeed, marijuana arrests alone do as well, we need to start rethinking our drug war strategy, and where we place our emphasis on policing in the US. In other words, we need to stop the insanity.
If this is Obama’s idea of Hope and Change, he can fuck off with that shit.
