It’s time to stop taking libertarianism seriously.
So let me see if I can follow your argument (considering I’m apparently so fucking stupid as to actually subscribe to libertarian thought). Libertarianism is so stupid, juvenile, selfish and bratty that we should all stop taking it seriously, yet Salon has been actively and enthusiastically engaging itself in a full court press, pants shitting smear campaign against Rand Paul and his libertarian-leaning ideas since the Kentucky primaries 3 days ago, devoting no fewer than 11 articles comprised of thousands of words and dozens of man-hours of drafting, revising and editing.1 Gotcha.
Next time you want to pretend that you don’t feel threatened by a particular political philosophy, don’t shit so much vitriolic, hateful diarrhea in the form of pixelized ink on to the internets. I know that in your estimation I ride the short bus, but it almost seems like your scared not of libertarian philosophy, but of losing the swing voters that both republitards and libertards desperately need in order to win elections, and who might be “conned” in to actually believing that maybe we don’t need the government to make every decision for us.
UPDATE: Make that 12 articles smearing Rand Paul in the less than 3 days after having won the primary. But “we’re not scared! Really.”
