Dan Balz and John Cohen on Obama’s sinking popularity with the voting American public:

Overall, a slim majority of all voters say they would prefer Republican control of Congress so that the legislative branch would act as a check on the president’s policies. Those most likely to vote in the midterms prefer the GOP over continued Democratic rule by a sizable margin of 56 percent to 41 percent.

My translation:

Obama has shown that he is a progressive fucktard, and voters feel they need to reign his ass in via a Republitard controlled congress. Despite a bad taste left from Bushie, most clamor for the days when wealth redistribution wasn’t a primary goal in virtually every bill and will rob Paul to pay Peter to create gridlock in government until they can vote Obama’s ass out in 2012.

Holy shit do I wish Americans would vote for a select few third party candidates. It needn’t be enough to control congress, but only a handful to keep both republitards and demotards from having their way all of the time. Though I absolutely agree that we need to put some fucking checks and balances on the overtly progressive Obama agenda, I simply can’t advocate replacing cock sucker big government demotards with cock sucker big government republitards as a long term strategy.
