Ron Paul Introduces HR 6416: The American Traveler Dignity Act
Wednesday 17 November 2010 - Filed under Constitution + Government + Legislation + War on Terror
Ron Paul in his response to the TSA’s new protocol of sexual assault and molestation:
My legislation is simple. It establishes that airport security screeners are not immune from any US law regarding physical contact with another person, making images of another person, or causing physical harm through the use of radiation-emitting machinery on another person. It means they are subject to the same laws as the rest of us.
Simple. Concise. Absofuckinglutely right on. All I ask is that security screeners be held to the same standards as every other American. I will not accept that the TSA can do what, if done by any other person in America, is blatantly sexual assault.
I wonder how much support from his fellow colleagues in congress he’ll receive. All I can say is that at least one congressman is in support of liberty.
I have but one thing to say to congress: if you’re so fucking eager to Do Something™ for the benefit of the American people, for fuck’s sake, this is it.
