Let us hope that one of these so-called “addiction experts” dies a slow, painful death during which a doctor refuses to give them opioid pain killers. The Indy Channel:

Addiction experts are concerned after hearing reports that a stronger, more powerful painkiller could be headed to prescription markets.

Patients who suffer from chronic pain or have surgery are often prescribed hydrocodone buffered with acetaminophen to ease their misery.

Burns said some medical experts are critical of the drug because abusers could crush the time-released pills for an immediate, intense high.

Officials with the National Coalition Against Drug Abuse said Zohydro could be the next OxyContin.

“We just don’t need this on the market,” NCADA officials said.

May every member of the NCADA contract a painful illness that can be cured, be prescribed Vicodin, then die of liver toxicity, you nanny fucks. If there are two things that sure as fuck aren’t your goddamn business it’s how a pain patient and his doctor agree is the best way to treat a debilitating illness, and how people decide how they want to get fucking high.
