Can we dispense with the false narrative peddled on to us that free speech is a bad thing? WaPo:
Never before has so much political money been spent to achieve so little.
Record spending by independent groups, which in many ways defined how campaigns were waged this year, had no discernible effect on the outcome of most races, according to an analysis by The Washington Post.
When free speech is decried as a bad thing, one only look to those decrying said free speech as to who it hurts: political establishmentarians, journalists, and academics.
