Myth: Obama is steadfast in his mission to “restore” the civil liberties taken by Bush the Lesser’s presidency.
Reality: BULLSHIT! Obama has not only co-opted various civil liberties-busting policies from Bush, but he has actually made some of them worse, as well as a host of new “security” initiatives which, had they been undertaken by Bush the Lesser, would have been set up as egregious invasions of our privacy.
