Grumpy?
Monica Davey of The New York Times on the Kansas idea of the proposed “Office of the Repealer”: In some corners of the country, people seem to have grown so grumpy about the tangle of government rules and regulations that it may be easier for politicians to promise not what they will do, but what […]

Amusing
I find it extremely amusing that the attitude of some people is that oil gushing in to the gulf is bad, but that detonating a fucking nuclear bomb to stop it is okay. They’re not okay with oil in the environment, but are good with radiation.

F.U.C.K. The federal government. Of all of the people on earth who deserve to be left alone by government, it’s the goddamn Amish. Sindya N. The […]

I guess we didn’t have to wait very long. Nicholas Casey of The Wall Street Journal: It was the second time in eight days that a Mexican was killed on the international border by U.S. authorities. On May 31, Anastasio Hernández, a Mexican migrant not related to Sergio, was shocked to death with a stun […]

The New North Korea
I wonder how long until we start to see Arizona take North Korean approved actions along our borders. Edward Wong in The New York Times: The Chinese Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that a North Korean border guard shot dead three Chinese nationals and wounded one last week in an incident in northeast China, prompting the […]

Arthur Laffer via The Wall Street Journal: And it’s also simple enough for most people to understand that if the government taxes people who work and pays people not to work, fewer people will work. Incentives matter.
